Q: Does a UAE structure require us to be resident?

No. A structure can be established and administered while the family remains resident elsewhere. Residency becomes relevant for tax and substance reasons, which are separate questions.

Q: What are the current thresholds for long-term visas?

They are set by the UAE authorities and change, so we do not publish figures that will date. We confirm the current position at the time of enquiry.

Q: Will moving to the UAE reduce our tax?

It may change it substantially, but not automatically, and your departing country has its own rules about leaving. That has to be modelled with counsel there before anything is decided.
